Appearances can be deceptive – the Travel EXC is no ordinary sports tourer. A light, versatile machine built around 700c wheels, Shimano's rugged 8-speed Alfine hub and Gates' ultra-durable CDX belt, it consigns rattling gears and oily chains to the past.

There's clearance for tough, comfortable tyres up to 42x622 – with full-length mudguards included. Powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes keep you in full control and the full complement of touring accessories – including lighting set, kickstand and luggage rack – means you're all set to go.
